Chiropractic
What is Chiropractic?
The nervous system plays an important role in the health of the entire body. It is the master controller of all cells, tissues and organs and regulates and co-ordinates the functioning of the body. Any interference to the nervous system will jeopardise health and may lead to injury or disease. The nervous system can be hampered by misalignments of the spine and other joints as a result of poor posture, incorrect lifting, childbirth, stress etc.
Chiropractic treatment removes these misalignments from the vertebrae and joints to enable the nervous system to function optimally. It is a non-invasive form of body manipulation. There are three stages of care: relieving pain, increasing mobility and preventing recurrence.
