Autism, ADD and ASD is a multifactorial dysfunction which actively presents from early infanthood, and progresses throughout adulthood. It is an increasing problem not exclusively in the UK but throughout the developed world.
Summarised by a range of symptoms including biochemical disturbance, functional disorder, recognisable physical traits and mood and mind irregularities, Autism, ADD and ASD individuals often find it difficult to find their way through mainstream healthcare.
Specialist Programme for Autism
At The Naturopathic Centre for Children we run a specialist holistic programme, which initially assesses each individual across the range of symptoms and provides individualised treatment programmes to work across the board to provide a safe and progressive route to symptom reduction and functional improvement.
Treatments such as cranial osteopathy, nutrition, homeopathy, Bowen therapy, scientific functional tests and herbs may be used on such a programme to correct identified imbalances. Other treatments are available if indicated through the assessment including an educational psychologist and integrative arts therapist, if appropriate.
Parents of children and adults who are diagnosed in this spectrum range are provided with emotional support, constant contact, reviews, assessments and ongoing reassessment to track improvement and provide a means to cope with the ensuing changes.
