Our vision

A holistic centre for children and their families has been a long standing desire of mine for several years. Indeed the concept of this inspired me to train initially as a nutritional therapist, and then to continue to train in the disciplines of natural health, which resulted in becoming a naturopathic physician.

Having three young children of my own, I am well aware of the issues surrounding infertility, the worries of pregnancy and concerns for a safe birth and the enormous responsibility and sense of concern that arrives when your child is born. Along with the ecstatic excitement of a new arrival, the desire to care for that child in all aspects of their welfare is overwhelming. How shall I feed my new offspring, monitor developmental checks, assess ongoing health needs, work with acute illness, address times of illness, change or growth and generally manage health and wellbeing for my child? It can be an enormous task and finding the right support at a holistic level is not always easy.

The Naturopathic Centre for Children is aimed at providing an integrated, holistic approach to wellbeing for all children. We offer expert advice, accessible information, assessment and appropriate treatment in a non-invasive, drug-free approach to wellness.

With all children there are families or carers: mums, dads, guardians, foster parents, grandparents and friends. All of these need support and The Naturopathic Centre provides a similar programme for you too! I look forward to sharing my experiences and helping to teach you a way of living that is supportive and nourishing to the mind, body and soul.
