Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a 2000 year-old traditional Chinese healing therapy designed to rebalance or unblock the flow of energy within the body. Needles are used at certain points on the body, which correspond to the points on the meridians or channels along which the body's energy - known as qi - is thought to flow. The flow of qi can be disturbed by many factors, be they physical, mental or emotional, and this will have an effect on our overall wellbeing.

Acupuncture is most accepted as a method of pain relief. However, a skillful acupuncturist will use it to treat a range of clinical conditions and it is an important alternative tool in our methods of treatment. Especially we use acupuncture on the basis of our diagnosis to stimulate the body's own healing response and bring the body back into its natural balance.
